I was receiving palliative care for congestive heart failure when we learned about Jenny. My husband and I thought Jenny would be a big help when I eventually needed to transition to hospice. As it turned out, just a couple of weeks after meeting with Jenny, we unexpectedly made that transition with her help but did wonder about her role going forward. She quickly proved to be a huge help with the rules changes between palliative care and hospice, including important medication issues. Her ability to navigate the healthcare system has been invaluable. She recently attended a medical appointment with my husband and I and we both noticed that we got different information than we had previously just because she was in the room with us. Jenny is a treasure and we are grateful to have her helping us as we continue on this complicated journey.
