I have been privileged to work with Jenny Buckley, R.N., in a time of severe crisis in my life.  My husband developed an extremely critical, life-threatening illness, which revealed itself gradually and mysteriously, making diagnosis and treatment planning very difficult.  Mrs. Buckley came alongside me and stayed close the entire time. She first offered good advice on alternative scenarios, plans and possibilities, checking in frequently, and suggesting questions to ask doctors. 

When my husband’s illness began to progress rapidly, she stepped in with decisive and urgent advice, and made both of us realize that waiting was no longer an option. 

When my husband was hospitalized for tests and then extensive surgery, she interpreted medical test results for me constantly, sometimes several times a day. She also called with encouragement, always asking about my emotions, strength and state of mind, reminding me that my needs as a caregiver were important. She listened to my fears, letting me know that she would discuss any topic I wanted to bring up. She answered every text and every question essentially immediately, and let me know she was always available.

My experience with Jenny Buckley, R.N., was literally life-giving.  Her medical knowledge is superb, and her compassion, attentiveness, support and extraordinary kindness round out her qualifications as an outstanding asset in any medical situation. I could not have made it through my husband’s ordeal and near death without her. Any patient or family would be lucky to be her client.
